Google Release New Search-Based Keyword Tool
Tuesday, November 18th, 2008Google have today released a new keyword tool aimed at giving advertisers additional information on optimising their online campaigns.
You can see the tool here: http://www.google.com/sktool/
This is a really useful tool in that it allows you to identify keywords that you are not bidding on and that Google ranks as important in terms of that pages content. It also shows you your current performance on their organic listings and on paid listings so you can see which keywords need improvement.
You are also able to filter keywords in ‘estimated price’ order so you can determine the viability of each keyword which is really useful.
Finally, it is useful for assessing the phrases relating to your competitors and determining possible bidding activity based on those.
I am due to give the tool a real test today so I will report back with my findings!
